Two Hearts of Stone

heart-3316495_1920

Two Hearts of Stone

Come together in union

A purpose unrealized

Beating in their false images

And granite confines.

They begin to fragment and crack

The Stones’ blood eases through

Trying to reform the wall

But the beats of time

Cannot endure the inevitable.

Two Hearts of Stone

Shattered

Lying in the remnants, now sand

Being carried away by waves

To the bottom of the sea.

With each cleansing cycle

And each ray of light

Holding possibilities in its glimmer

Two Hearts of Flesh

Beat new life.

Star

winter-3006823_1920

What if each Star were a Soul,
waiting to breathe new Life,
all its Light, its magnificent light,
harnessed as the power of the Sun, but
able to shine in each body, as a
Oneness, as love, a Love so strong
it lights the darkest sky, and
twinkles in a distance
towards the peace that can be.

Dream: Lost

nature-2578114_1920

A young boy, blonde innocence.
Walks a great maze, structures
of hallways and doors.

His dog is his guide.
He finally catches up
in a garden, but does not notice.

The young man, talented unsure.
Walks the campus, buildings
and rooms of learning.

Which to choose?
The wanderer does not know
sits at the bar, sinks in the crowd.

A man, searching the trail.
Climbs the mountain
the rocky top has an interesting temple.

Enters, and listens.
There is a river, endless and
grand, notices a shallow spot to cross.

Mirror Now

luner-lake-475819_1920

The moon is the mirror
of the sun.
Her existence is without
unless her face
touches light.

Peace is the mirror
of the Now.
Her existence is without
unless her heart
captures beauty.
